Important PTA Dates
PTA General Meeting-
Join us on Thursday, October 19th at 6:30 p.m., in the media center, for our PTA General Meeting!
We will be discussing upcoming advocacy initiatives as it pertains to the class size mandate. We will have valuable information from our WCPSS board of education representative Bill Fletcher and from Public Schools First NC.
There will be a special session of the legislature beginning on January 10, 2018, and for the next three months, we will be encouraging parents to connect with our NC General Assembly representatives to share what we know about our children's classrooms and resources they need daily. During our meeting, you can learn more about tips on how to build relationships and engage with our local NC House & Senate representatives.
In addition, we will briefly discuss the Wake County Assignment Draft Proposal and new dates for applying for your child's school calendar option.
As with all of our meetings, our board members will give updates regarding school events, fundraising, programs, and more.
We hope to see you there!

As a National PTA School of Excellence, families feel welcomed and empowered to support student success, and the PTA, in conjunction with the school administration, is a key partner for continuous school improvement.
